It is summer once again. Angel asked me if we can do Pangasinan reconnaissance on March 27, 2012. One day activity. I told him I will draw the itinerary, but the area of coverage for plan A was a bit too large, I was forced to draw a Plan B. So we went ahead with plan B.

Jimny would be our vehicle because it is small, light, 4x4 and consumes less fuel.

Met at Edsa at 0300 March 27, 2012. Then drove to NLEX, SCTEX, Tarlac, Camiling then had breakfast in Maxine's place in Lucap, Alaminos. We were already in the "welcome to alaminos" arch by 0600 hours (3 hours from edsa). I had pangasinan longanisa, eggs and brewed coffee. It was a fine day drinking coffee while watching sunrise over 100 islands ", it was indeed beautiful. What a way to start a day ", .

Then we drove to Ranao in Bani, Pangasinan, to see Baliwanga Falls. We were sad to see Baliwanga Falls had dried up. The area around Baliwanga had been deforested.

Then we drove to the Redeemer's Cross in Surip, then went to Sitio Surip (a village near the sea). Hide A-way beach resort is in Sitio Surip.

We drove to Nalsoc Cave. Angel and Luis were curious so they went to the cave door. But didn't enter because there might be a giant frog that would eat them (effect of watching too much TV). Me? of course I had to stay in the car and guard it. No cave guide around, so we weren't able to enter the cave. It was dangerous to play with caves.

We went to Bolinao light house to have some pics. The view at there was nice.

We then went to Enchanted cave. This cave was well lit. There were stalactites. But most importantly, there was a clean pool inside. This pool was a natural pool (not man made).

After that, we went to Bolinao Falls. The place was relaxing and nice place to picnic. The place is large enough for jumping and swimming.

We then went to Tondol white beach in Anda, Pangasinan. Large and long sandbar at low tide where one can walk and get tired. The sandbar is nice for sunbathing, running around, etc. The place is also nice for swimming. This is a large white sandbar beach which a visitor can just drive from the mainland Luzon. So if you are looking for a white sandbar and tired of riding the plane, this is sooo it!

We went to Bong's house (Angel's friend) to eat seafood at lunch and dinner. Where Luis feasted and consumed too much food. Sir Bong, thank you so much for the crabs, prawns, squid, fishes, seaweeds, and most of all for your hospitality. Regards to your family. We also went to Angel's beach house and resort..... hmmmm..... ",

Then went home, left Anda in Pangasinan at 2000 hours. We were in the toll booth near Balintawak after 4 hours drive.

That was a day filled with good things. Yup, all of those in just 1 day. We were happy! The pics are geotagged. You can view GPS coordinates in panoramio.
